We went to a local park yesterday. It is very close to our home and has a splash park as well as a regular park and is geared for smaller children. During the summer, they show movies on a big screen outside and there is always a nice crowd of mommies and nannies sitting around the edge of the park, watching over their little ones.
Luke had a grand time! He discovered the water cannon and, unknowingly, turned it on a rather large section of very dry mommies. Matthew had to run into the middle of the water park to save them.
Then he ran around for a while, enjoying the freedom . . .
only stopping to play with the occasional fountain.
And then thought about climbing the walls.
But he settled on exploring the non-water park. . .
And the pleasures of wood chips.
I always like to have a picture of me, just to prove I really was there. :)
